One of the questions I often get is, is now
a good time to come to law school. My response, now is a great time to come to
Penn Law. Why? Because even in these uncertain economic times,
according to so many objective measures. Penn Law is the leader in preparing new graduates
for rewarding legal careers. There’s a shared experience, There’s a
sense of a communal experience, we’re all going through something together, exams for
instance, but there is this unique individuality to the Penn Law experience. You get to build it. We’re equally renowned for our interdisciplinary
curriculum. Students learn the law while developing expertise
in fields like business and finance, health care, government and public policy, technology
and intellectual property, and criminal justice reform. Just to name a few. Whether it’s a student who is pursuing a
joint degree in Bioethics or a student who is taking a degree at Wharton. There are a tremendous number of resources
that reflect the connections between legal practice and other disciplines in law practice
more generally. We offer thirty-five joint degree and certificate
programs with other top professional schools and other graduate departments here at Penn. More than any other law school in the country. Faculty and administration here, they’re
so renowned in their own fields and they’re so busy doing incredible things on top of
teaching, but you get so close to them. They view you as a peer that needs to go out
do something with the education. And we’re one of the most unique law school
campuses in the country because here we’re a community, and our students truly support
each other and are invested in each other’s success. My classmates, my colleagues, the faculty,
the staff, the administration, They have become a part of not just my Penn Law experience,
but my life experience. Now is a great time to earn your J.D. at Penn
