ANNOUNCER: TODAY ON “JUDGE FAITH”…SUSPICIOUS TRAFFICKING COMES INTO PLAY.>>I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE LOOK SO UNPROFESSIONAL THAT SAID THEY WORKED AT THE DMV.>>I DON’T WORK AT THE DMV, NEVER WORKED THERE AT ALL. ANNOUNCER: AND ONE OF THEM DOESN’T WANT TO ANSWER THE JUDGE’S REPEATED QUESTIONS. JUDGE: HOW IS THE PERSON THAT YOU KNOW AT TARGET GOING TO HELP THEM GET CREDIT?>>I DON’T KNOW. [GALLERY LAUGHS] JUDGE: HAVE YOU BEEN ARRESTED?>>NO. JUDGE: YOU’RE LIVING A DANGEROUS LIFE, MA’AM. PEOPLE ALWAYS THINK THEY’RE NOT GOING TO GET CAUGHT. IT ALWAYS CATCHES UP WITH YOU, AND IN THE END, YOU LOSE. IT’S NEVER WORTH IT. ANNOUNCER: FAITH JENKINS. HER DISTINGUISHED LEGAL CAREER BEGAN WHEN SHE GRADUATED FIRST IN HER LAW SCHOOL CLASS. SHE QUICKLY BECAME A TOUGH NEW YORK CITY PROSECUTOR AND THEN A PREEMINENT LEGAL ANALYST ON CABLE NEWS, AND NOW SHE’S THE JUDGE IN HER OWN COURTROOM. HER CASES ARE REAL AND HER RULINGS ARE FINAL. SHE IS JUDGE FAITH. PLAINTIFF AMBER CAMPBELL SAYS A FRIEND KNEW SOMEONE CONNECTED WITH THE DMV WHO COULD FIX HER TRAFFIC TICKETS, BUT AFTER PAYING, SHE GOT NOTHING IN RETURN. SHE’S SUING FOR A REFUND. DEFENDANT KEIONA NASH SAYS SHE BARELY KNOWS THE PLAINTIFF, AND IT WAS HER EX-BOYFRIEND WHO TOOK THE MONEY. SHE CLAIMS SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CASE AND IS COUNTERSUING FOR HARASSMENT. BARBARA: REMAIN SEATED AND COME TO ORDER. COURT IS NOW IN SESSION, THE HONORABLE JUDGE FAITH JENKINS PRESIDING. YOUR HONOR, THIS CASE, WE HAVE CAMPBELL VERSUS NASH. JUDGE: THANK YOU, BARBARA. BARBARA: MM-HMM. JUDGE: AMBER CAMPBELL… CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: YOU ARE SUING THE DEFENDANT, KEIONA NASH, FOR $5,772 FOR A REFUND FOR TICKET DISMISSAL SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF FOR YOU AT THE DMV? CAMPBELL: YES, YOUR HONOR. YES. JUDGE: AND YOU ARE COUNTERSUING, MA’AM, FOR $500 FOR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS? NASH: YES, MA’AM. JUDGE: OK, I’LL START WITH YOU, MISS CAMPBELL. TELL ME–HOW DO YOU KNOW THE DEFENDANT AND WHAT’S GOING ON HERE? CAMPBELL: OK. IN 2013, IN JULY, UM, OVER THE SUMMER, I HAD AN INCIDENT WITH MY CAR BEING IMPOUNDED. JUDGE: TELL ME ABOUT THAT INCIDENT. CAMPBELL: I HAD TOO MANY TICKETS THAT I DIDN’T PAY, FAILURE TO APPEARS. THEY WOULDN’T LET ME UPDATE MY REGISTRATION UNTIL I GOT ALL MY TICKETS PAID FOR. SO THEY PULLED ME OVER; MY REGISTRATION WAS BAD, AND THEN, UM, I WAS FREAKING OUT. I’M A SINGLE MOTHER. I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. SO, UH, A FRIEND OF OURS JUST SO HAPPENED TO BE AT MY HOUSE WHEN I WAS ON THE PHONE DEALING WITH THE, UH, IMPOUND SITUATION, AND HE SAID, “OK, WELL, I KNOW SOMEONE THAT CAN HELP YOU OUT.” ACTUALLY– JUDGE: WHO WAS HE? CAMPBELL: OUR FRIEND. I CAN’T SAY HIS NAME. HE’S NOT HERE, BUT A FRIEND OF OURS, A MUTUAL FRIEND– JUDGE: HOW DO YOU KNOW HIM? CAMPBELL: HE LIVED IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. JUDGE: HOW DID YOU COME TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH HIM ABOUT YOU OWING OVER $4,000 IN TICKETS? CAMPBELL: WELL, HE–HE WAS AT MY HOUSE. THERE WAS A 30-DAY HOLD ON MY CAR, AND HE SAID THAT IF I WENT THROUGH HER, THEN I DIDN’T HAVE TO WAIT 30 DAYS ANYMORE TO GET MY CAR, THAT, YOU KNOW, SHE HAD–SHE WAS A MANAGER AT THE DMV. JUDGE: ARE YOU A MANAGER AT DMV? NASH: NO, MA’AM. JUDGE: OK. GO AHEAD. CAMPBELL: AND SO I BELIEVED IT. JUDGE: YOU TEXT HER INITIALLY AND YOU SAY, “HEY, I HEARD THAT YOU WORK AT DMV AND CAN HELP ME OUT.” HOW DOES SHE RESPOND TO THAT? CAMPBELL: SHE SAID, “YEAH, IT’S TRUE. I CAN–I CAN HELP YOU GET–GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF IN A MATTER OF A DAY OR TWO.” JUDGE: DID YOU SAY THAT? NASH: NO, MA’AM. CAMPBELL: WHEREAS I WOULD HAVE HAD TO WAIT 30 DAYS TO GET MY CAR BACK. JUDGE: OK, WHAT DO YOU DO, MA’AM, FOR A LIVING? NASH: I’M A CHILD CARE PROVIDER. I DON’T WORK AT THE DMV, NEVER WORKED THERE AT ALL. [GALLERY CHUCKLING] JUDGE: OK. DO YOU KNOW THE PLAINTIFF? NASH: I SEEN HER A COUPLE OF TIMES BECAUSE THE GUY THAT SHE’S SAYING, HE USED TO BE MY BOYFRIEND, AND THAT’S HOW WE MET. WELL, I NEVER REALLY MET HER. I USED TO BE WITH HIM, AND HE USED TO GO TO HER HOUSE AND THINGS LIKE THAT. I NEVER FULLY MET HER. I NEVER KNEW HER NAME, NOTHING. JUDGE: OK, SO HOW DO YOU GET INVOLVED IN ALL OF THIS? NASH: THAT’S WHAT I’M TRYING TO FIGURE OUT NOW. JUDGE: SO YOU’RE SAYING THAT SHE NEVER CONTACTED YOU, AND YOU NEVER HAD THIS TEXT CONVERSATION ABOUT YOU WORKING AT DMV? NASH: NO. HE HAD THE HOOK-UP AT THE DMV, NOT ME. IT WAS HIM. JUDGE: HE WORKED AT DMV? NASH: WELL, HE HAD THE HOOK-UP. HE NEVER WORKED THERE. I GUESS HE KNEW SOME-SOMEBODY THAT WORKED THERE, AND I GUESS HE HAD THE INFORMATION. JUST LIKE SHE STATED, WE MET THROUGH HIM. I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNEW WHO SHE IS. I DON’T KNOW HER, AT ALL. JUDGE: YOU SUBMITTED TEXT MESSAGES INTO EVIDENCE. CAMPBELL: YES, I DID. JUDGE: YOU HAVE A CELL NUMBER? NASH: YES. JUDGE: THIS IS YOUR NUMBER. [GALLERY MURMURING] SHE HAS A–A LOT OF TEXT MESSAGES BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU, WHERE SHE’S GIVING YOU INFORMATION ABOUT THESE TICKETS, AND YOU’RE RESPONDING. NASH: YES, I’M RESPONDING BECAUSE OF HIM. I NEVER WORKED AT THE DMV. I’M RESPONDING BECAUSE OF HIM. JUDGE: NO, I JUST ASKED YOU BEFORE, DID YOU EVER HAVE THIS TEXT CONVERSATION WITH HER? YOU SAID, “I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT.” I HAVE TEXT MESSAGES IN FRONT OF ME WHERE YOU’RE HAVING A CONVERSATION WITH HER ABOUT TICKETS, SO DO YOU WANT TO REPHRASE YOUR ANSWER AND TRY TELLING ME THE TRUTH NOW? NASH: YES. JUDGE: OK. WHAT’S GOING ON WITH THE TEXT MESSAGES? NASH: SHE WANTED TO GET THE DMV HOOK-UP LIKE SHE STATED, AND IT WAS FROM HIM. I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNEW HER IF IT CAME FROM HIM. JUDGE: SO WHAT–WHAT ARE YOU TEXTING ABOUT? WHAT ARE–WHAT ARE YOU SAYING TO HER IN THESE TEXT MESSAGES? NASH: SHE’S ASKING FOR THE DMV HOOK-UP. SHE’S ASKING TO CLEAR HER TICKETS, LIKE SHE STATED– JUDGE: WHY ARE YOU IN THIS CONVERSATION, ON THE TEXT MESSAGES I’M LOOKING AT? NASH: BECAUSE I WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND AT THE TIME– JUDGE: BECAUSE IT’S JUST BETWEEN THE TWO OF YOU. HE’S NOT IN THIS CONVERSATION. NASH: I KNOW. JUDGE: OK. NASH: I WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND AT THE TIME. JUDGE: DID HE HAVE A PHONE, MA’AM? NASH: YES. JUDGE: OK. WHY IS SHE TEXTING YOU? HE’S NOT IN THIS CONVERSATION. NASH: OK. JUDGE: THAT DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE, WHAT YOU’RE SAYING RIGHT NOW. CAMPBELL: I GAVE HER– [SCATTERED LAUGHTER] SHE KNOWS ME. I DON’T KNOW WHY SHE’S SITTING UP HERE ACTING LIKE–SHE KNOWS WHO I AM. NASH: I’VE SEEN YOU A COUPLE TIMES. JUDGE: STOP, BOTH OF YOU. SO YOU OBVIOUSLY KNOW MORE THAN WHAT YOU’RE TELLING ME IN COURT TODAY. CAMPBELL: THAT’S WHEN I BECAME SUSPICIOUS, YOUR HONOR, BECAUSE I EXPECTED TO PAY HER AT THE DMV. SHE WANTED TO MEET AT MY HOUSE, AND SHE HAD ALL MY INFORMATION. ANNOUNCER: COMING UP ON “JUDGE FAITH,” WHAT’S LOOKS GOT TO DO WITH IT? CAMPBELL: BACK TO HER APPEARANCE, YOUR HONOR–I’M NOT TRYING TO MAKE JOKES. ASK HER WHAT THE “100” STANDS FOR ON HER NECK. NASH: WHAT DOES THAT MATTER, WHAT IT STANDS FOR? WHAT DOES IT MATTER? WHAT DOES IT MATTER? CAMPBELL: MOST PEOPLE SAY, “KEEP IT 100.” ANNOUNCER: PLAINTIFF AMBER CAMPBELL SAYS A FRIEND CONNECTED HER TO THE DEFENDANT SO SHE COULD HAVE HER DMV TICKETS TAKEN CARE OF AT A LOWER PRICE. SHE’S SUING FOR A REFUND. DEFENDANT KEIONA NASH SAYS SHE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DMV TICKETS, AND THE PLAINTIFF IS SUING THE WRONG PERSON. JUDGE: YOU’RE SAYING THAT YOU MET UP WITH THE DEFENDANT… CAMPBELL: MM-HMM. SHE CAME TO MY HOUSE. JUDGE: OK, AND–AND WHY DIDN’T YOU GO TO THE DMV, IF YOU SAY SHE WORKS THERE? YOU BELIEVED SHE WORKED THERE? CAMPBELL: SHE–SHE WASN’T REACHABLE DURING DMV HOURS, ONLY AFTER–AFTER THEY CLOSED. I CALLED THE DMV. THE NAME SHE GAVE ME WAS TOTALLY FALSE. I COULDN’T REACH HER. THEY DON’T HAVE A LADY BY THE NAME OF LISA SUCH-AND-SUCH– NASH: BECAUSE I DON’T WORK THERE. CAMPBELL: RIGHT. THAT WAS– THAT’S NOT EVEN HER NAME. LISA IS NOT HER NAME. HER NAME IS KEIONA. JUDGE: THIS FRIEND… CAMPBELL: MM-HMM. JUDGE: BY THE WAY, DO YOU KNOW IF HE WAS HER BOYFRIEND AT ANY POINT IN TIME? CAMPBELL: HE’S–HE DIDN’T SAY THAT WAS HIS GIRLFRIEND. JUDGE: THIS FRIEND, THIS PERSON WHO’S NOT HERE, GAVE YOU HER INFORMATION. HE SAID HER NAME IS LISA. CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: AND I SEE ON YOUR TEXT MESSAGES, YOU HAVE HER NAMED “DMV LISA”… CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: ON YOUR TEXT MESSAGES. YOU CONFIRM THIS IS YOUR– HA HA HA! YOU CONFIRM THIS IS YOUR PHONE NUMBER? NASH: YES. JUDGE: SO YOU START TEXTING WITH HER ABOUT THESE TICKETS AND HOW YOU WANT HER TO HELP YOU OUT. YOU DECIDE TO MEET HER AT YOUR HOUSE? WHERE? CAMPBELL: SHE DECIDED TO MEET ME AT MY HOUSE. JUDGE: A-AT YOUR HOUSE? CAMPBELL: MM-HMM. JUDGE: SO SHE COMES TO YOUR HOUSE, AND YOU’RE TELLING ME YOU GIVE HER OVER $2,800 IN CASH? CAMPBELL: UH, IT WAS OVER TWO DAYS. I GAVE HER $1,400 ONE DAY AND– NASH: NEVER GAVE ME NO MONEY. JUDGE: AND WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO–STOP THAT. WHAT WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THE MONEY? CAMPBELL: WELL, SHE HAD ALREADY DID WHAT SHE SAID SHE WAS GONNA DO– JUDGE: WHICH WAS WHAT? CAMPBELL: TAKE CARE OF MY TICKETS. JUDGE: MM-HMM. CAMPBELL: WHEN SHE SENT ME CONFIRMATION, IT WAS, LIKE, THEY WERE ALREADY PAID IN FULL. JUDGE: LET ME SEE THE CONFIRMATION SHE SENT YOU, AND– AND WHY ARE YOU SENDING A CONFIRMATION NUMBER TO HER? NASH: THIS IS THE INFORMATION THAT I’M GETTING FROM HIM. JUDGE: I MEAN, I’M JUST A LITTLE–HA! I DON’T KNOW IF YOU DIDN’T THINK I WOULD HAVE THESE TEXT MESSAGES, BECAUSE EARLIER, YOU WERE–WHEN I ASKED YOU ABOUT IT, YOU WERE COMPLETELY CLUELESS ABOUT–AND YOU ACTED LIKE YOU WERE CLUELESS ABOUT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. NASH: MM-HMM. JUDGE: SO YOU KNOW MORE THAN WHAT YOU’RE SAYING. NASH: YEAH, I DO. [LAUGHTER] JUDGE: OK, SO YOU WANT TO START TALKING AND TELL ME WHAT’S GOING ON? NASH: THE STORY IS, SHE GOT THE INFORMATION FROM HIM. I WOULD HAVE NEVER KNEW WHO SHE WAS THROUGH HIM. THAT’S HOW WE MET, AND I ONLY SEEN HER A COUPLE OF TIMES THROUGH HIM. CAMPBELL: YOUR HONOR, HE DOESN’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS. ALL HE DID WAS SIMPLY INTRODUCE US– NASH: HOW HE DON’T HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT IF YOU CAN’T– JUDGE: SO HAVE YOU–HAVE YOU BEEN TO HER HOUSE? NASH: YES, I’VE BEEN TO HER HOUSE WITH HIM. JUDGE: AND WHO DID YOU GIVE THE MONEY TO? YOU SAY GAVE THE MONEY TO HER? CAMPBELL: HER. SHE SHOWED UP ALONE. NASH: YOU’RE LYING. YOU ARE LYING. JUDGE: AND WHAT DID YOU– WHAT ARE YOU SAYING HAPPENED? NASH: YOU JUST SAID– JUDGE: MISS NASH! WHEN YOU TALK, I WANT YOU TO SPEAK TO ME, NOT TO HER. YOU UNDERSTAND? NASH: YES. JUDGE: SO YOU TOLD ME EARLIER, WHEN I ASKED YOU IF YOU KNEW HER, YOU SAID YOU DIDN’T KNOW HER. YOU HAVE SEEN HER BEFORE. YOU ONLY KNEW OF HER THROUGH YOUR BOYFRIEND, AND NOW YOU’RE TELLING ME YOU’VE BEEN TO HER HOUSE? NASH: WITH HIM. CAMPBELL: SHE SHOWED UP, YOUR HONOR, IN A TANK TOP, ALL TATTOOS EXPOSED, LONG, VICIOUS NAILS– NASH: WHAT DOES MY NAILS AND MY TATTOOS GOT TO DO WITH ANYTHING? BUT WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? CAMPBELL: LISTEN, I’LL TELL YOU WHY. NASH: WHAT DOES MY NAILS AND MY TATTOO HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING? CAMPBELL: I’LL TELL YOU WHY. BARBARA: I DON’T WANT YOU TO ENGAGE HER AT ALL… CAMPBELL: I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE LOOK SO UNPROFESSIONAL THAT SAID THEY WORKED AT THE DMV. REALLY? “100” CLEAR ACROSS YOUR NECK. JUDGE: SHE SHOWS UP AND–AND YOU GIVE HER OVER $2,800. CAMPBELL: WELL, NO, BECAUSE I CAN’T DENY THE FACT THAT THE TICKETS GOT–GOTTEN–THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF. JUDGE: HOW DO YOU CHECK THIS OUT? CAMPBELL: I CALLED. JUDGE: AND WHAT HAPPENED? CAMPBELL: I CALLED AND I CALLED AND I CALLED, AND I KEPT CALLING. I’M LIKE, “REALLY? IT’S TAKEN CARE OF? IT’S PAID FOR?” THEY’RE LIKE, “YES.” JUDGE: AND THE DMV TOLD YOU IT WAS PAID FOR? CAMPBELL: EVERYTHING, YES, AND I GOT MY CAR. IT WASN’T TILL MONTHS AFTER THE SITUATION THAT I GOT ALL THESE LETTERS IN THE MAIL SAYING, “WAIT A MINUTE. THESE TICKETS ARE STILL OUTSTANDING. IN FACT, WE’RE ADDING MORE MONEY TO IT BECAUSE WHOEVER’S CARD THAT WAS USED SAID THAT IT WASN’T–THEY DIDN’T AUTHORIZE THAT CHARGE. FRAUDULENT.” JUDGE: OK, SO–MAY I SEE THAT LETTER, PLEASE? CAMPBELL: I DON’T HAVE IT WITH ME RIGHT NOW. [GALLERY MURMURS] I KNOW. HMM. ALL I BROUGHT WAS THE TEXT MESSAGES. JUDGE: OK. LET ME SEE WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR PHONE. YOU SAY YOU HAVE A SCREEN SHOT OF THE LETTER FROM DMV? CAMPBELL: YES, I–I HAVE EVERYTHING, OUR WHOLE ENTIRE CONVERSATION, AND I REALLY WISH YOU WOULD READ IT FROM BEGINNING TO END. ANNOUNCER: COMING UP, IS THIS A CASE OF CREDIT CARD CRIME? JUDGE: THEY’RE TELLING YOU THAT THEY NEED SOME CREDIT? NASH: YES. JUDGE: WHY ARE THEY ASKING YOU? YOU’RE A CHILD CARE PROVIDER. NASH: YES. JUDGE: WHY ARE THEY ASKING YOU FOR CREDIT? NASH: BECAUSE I KNOW SOMEONE THAT WORKS AT TARGET. [LAUGHTER] ANNOUNCER: PLAINTIFF AMBER CAMPBELL SAYS PAYING THE DEFENDANT TO FIX DMV TRAFFIC TICKETS WAS A MISTAKE, AND SHE WANTS HER MONEY BACK. DEFENDANT KEIONA NASH SAYS SHE NEVER TOOK ANY MONEY AND DENIES ANY INVOLVEMENT IN THE CASE. JUDGE: YOU’RE TEXTING HER, “HERE IS THE CONFIRMATION FOR TWO TICKETS.” ANOTHER TEXT: “THEY WILL BE CLEAR BY THE END OF THE DAY.” YOU TEXT AGAIN, “SO BY TOMORROW, YOU WILL BE A-1 WITH ALL.” WHAT DOES A-1 MEAN? NASH: UM… JUDGE: IT’S YOUR TEXT! WHAT DOES IT MEAN? NASH: [CHUCKLES] UM, SHE’D BE OK. JUDGE: OK, THAT’S WHAT– OK, SO SHE’LL BE ALL GOOD, TICKETS WILL BE PAID. CAMPBELL: ASK HER WHAT THE “100” STANDS FOR ON HER NECK. NASH: WHAT DOES THAT MATTER, WHAT IT STANDS FOR? WHAT DOES IT MATTER? WHAT DOES IT MATTER… CAMPBELL: MOST PEOPLE SAY, “KEEP IT 100.” NASH: SO WHAT? WHAT DOES MY TATTOO HAS TO DO WITH ANYTHING? JUDGE: LISTEN, LISTEN, I WILL TELL YOU RIGHT NOW. YOU CAN GO BACK–YOU CAN GO OUT IN THE HALLWAY AND WE CAN BE DONE WITH THIS, OR YOU WANT ME TO READ THESE TEXT MESSAGES THAT YOU SUBMITTED TO ME LATE? CAMPBELL: OK, I’LL BE PROFESSIONAL. [GALLERY CHUCKLING] NASH: WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME MONEY, SO-CALLED MONEY, IF I GOT “100” ON MY NECK? JUDGE: UH, MISS NASH, UH, BE QUIET. BARBARA: DON’T EVEN TALK ABOUT IT, OK? JUDGE: YOU’RE ASKING HER FOR THE NEXT TICKET NUMBER, AND SHE SAYS SHE ONLY HAS THE DOCKET NUMBER. YOU SAY OK. YOU ASK HER, “IS THIS INFORMATION–IS THIS UNDER YOUR NAME?” SHE SAYS YES. “HERE’S THE 1-800 NUMBER TO CALL. THIS IS WHAT YOU OWE.” THESE ARE ALL YOUR TEXT MESSAGES. YOU GIVE HER ANOTHER CONFIRMATION NUMBER. “YOU CAN CALL AND VERIFY IF YOU LIKE.” SO ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU’RE SENDING ALL THESE TEXT– WHAT, WHAT, IS YOUR BOYFRIEND STANDING NEXT TO YOU TELLING YOU WHAT TO WRITE? HE CAN’T TEXT? HE DOESN’T HAVE FINGERS? NASH: YES, HE DO. JUDGE: AND YOU STILL WANT ME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A CONVERSATION–THAT YOU’RE JUST RELAYING INFORMATION TO HER FROM YOUR BOYFRIEND? NASH: YES. JUDGE: ALL THESE TEXT MESSAGES? NASH: YES. CAMPBELL: I THINK SHE’S A– JUDGE: YOU JUST–YOU’RE JUST TAKING DICTATION? NASH: YES. THAT WAS MY BOYFRIEND. I WAS WITH HIM. JUDGE: WITH THOSE NAILS, BY THE WAY. I KNOW IT TAKES SOME EFFORT TO TEXT WITH THOSE NAILS. NASH: YES, BUT WHAT HAS MY NAILS GOT TO DO WITH ANYTHING? MY NAILS DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH NOTHING. [LAUGHTER AND APPLAUSE] CAMPBELL: I THINK SHE NEEDS MEDICINE. [LAUGHTER] ANNOUNCER: AND NOW, JUDGE FAITH RULES. JUDGE: YOU SUBMITTED SOME INSTAGRAM PHOTOS. WHAT’S THE RELEVANCE OF THE INSTAGRAM PHOTOS? CAMPBELL: SHE’S A BIG SHOW-OFF. I DIDN’T KNOW HER REAL NAME, AND I WOULDN’T STOP UNTIL I FOUND OUT WHO THIS GIRL WAS ‘CAUSE CALLING THE DMV ASKING FOR SOME FANTASY CHICK WASN’T HAPPENING. JUDGE: WELL, YOU ASKED FOR LISA. CAMPBELL: I’D ASK FOR LISA. JUDGE: AND THEY SAID WHAT? CAMPBELL: THEY’RE LIKE, “LISA WHO?” JUDGE: DID YOU TELL HER YOUR NAME WAS LISA? NASH: NO. THAT’S ON MY INSTAGRAM. CAMPBELL: WHY NOT? JUDGE: SO YOU DON’T–MA’AM. DON’T ASK HER QUESTIONS. CAMPBELL: OK, I’M SORRY. JUDGE: I MEAN, YOU’RE–YOU’RE ASKING ALL THESE QUESTIONS NOW? YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED THEM EARLIER. CAMPBELL: YEAH. [APPLAUSE] JUDGE: NOW YOU WANT TO ASK QUESTIONS, WHEN YOU COME INTO COURT. LET ME SEE THE PHOTOS YOU WANT ME TO SEE FROM INSTAGRAM. [NASH SIGHS] MISS NASH, WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN SOMEONE WRITES UNDER YOUR INSTAGRAM, “U STILL BE ON DECK WITH CARDS?” WHAT CARDS ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT? CREDIT CARDS? NASH: NO. I DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY MEAN. [SCATTERED CHUCKLING] JUDGE: I’LL TELL YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE IT MEANS TO ME. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU’RE PROBABLY ENGAGED IN SOME KIND OF CREDIT CARD SCAM OR FRAUD, AND SOMEONE’S ASKING YOU ABOUT IT ON YOUR INSTAGRAM. NASH: NOT TRUE. JUDGE: NEXT PHOTO. “DO YOU HAVE A PLUG ON TARGET NOW?” [GALLERY MURMURING] AND YOUR RESPONSE IS “SOMETHING LIKE THAT. LOL.” WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? NASH: A PLUG ON TARGET. JUDGE: WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I DON’T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. NASH: THAT I KNOW SOMEONE THAT WORKS AT TARGET. [GALLERY CHUCKLING] BUT WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH HER? WHAT DOES THAT–IT DON’T HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH HER IF I HAVE SOMEBODY THAT WORKS AT TARGET. JUDGE: OH, IT HAS–I ACTUALLY THINK IT HAS A LOT TO DO BECAUSE SHE’S SAYING THAT YOU SCAMMED HER OUT OF OVER $2,800. CAMPBELL: YEAH. JUDGE: “HEY, I NEED SOME CREDIT. WHAT’S UP?” [LAUGHTER] [SCATTERED APPLAUSE] HMM? WHY ARE THEY ASKING YOU? YOU’RE A CHILD CARE PROVIDER. NASH: YES. JUDGE: WHY ARE THEY ASKING YOU FOR CREDIT? NASH: BECAUSE I KNOW SOMEONE THAT WORKS AT TARGET. [LAUGHTER] JUDGE: OK. ALL RIGHT. HOW’S THE PERSON THAT YOU KNOW AT TARGET GOING TO HELP THEM GET CREDIT? NASH: I DON’T KNOW. [LAUGHTER] JUDGE: “TYME TO TURN UP.” [LAUGHTER] IS THAT ECSTASY? NASH: NO. [LAUGHTER] NASH: WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH HER? THIS HAS NOTHING– ALL MY STUFF ON INSTAGRAM– JUDGE: WELL, LET ME TELL YOU WHAT IT HAS TO DO, BECAUSE YOU’VE COME IN HERE AND YOU’VE LIED FROM THE MOMENT YOU SET FOOT IN THIS COURTROOM, FROM THE VERY FIRST QUESTION I ASKED YOU TO THE VERY END. I DON’T THINK YOU’VE TOLD ME ONE THING THAT’S TRUE TODAY, EXCEPT FOR YOUR NAME MIGHT BE KEIONA NASH. [LAUGHTER] YOU HAVE “100” ON YOUR NECK? YOU DON’T “KEEP IT 100” ABOUT ANYTHING. [APPLAUSE] YOU HAVE THAT TATTOOED ON YOUR NECK? NASH: AHEM. JUDGE: AND I ALSO THINK THAT YOU’RE ENGAGED IN SOME KIND OF CREDIT CARD FRAUD RING. IT’S NOT JUST ONE PERSON. SOMEBODY ELSE IS INVOLVED IN THIS. I WILL HAVE TO TELL YOU, I WAS A PROSECUTOR IN MANHATTAN. I’VE SEEN THESE KINDS OF CASES. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT MEANS. NASH: WELL, THAT’S NOT WHAT THEY MEAN. JUDGE: YOU BETTER BE CAREFUL. HAVE YOU BEEN ARRESTED? NASH: NO. JUDGE: YOU’RE ASKING FOR IT. IT EVENTUALLY CATCHES UP WITH YOU, JUST SO YOU KNOW. [APPLAUSE] WHAT IS THIS $500 COUNTERCLAIM FOR HARASSMENT? [GALLERY CHUCKLING] NASH: [SIGHS] SHE WAS HARASSING ME. POPPED UP AT MY HOUSE, ALL SORTS OF THINGS. JUDGE: WELL, YOU DIDN’T WORK AT THE DMV. WHERE ELSE WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO FIND YOU? NASH: I NEVER TOLD HER I WORKED AT THE DMV. [APPLAUSE] JUDGE: YOU CAME IN WITH THIN EVIDENCE TODAY, BUT A LOT OF TIMES, IN THESE CASES, IT’S A CREDIBILITY ISSUE, AND YOU’VE BEEN CAUGHT IN SO MANY LIES. YOU’RE OBVIOUSLY COVERING FOR WHAT YOU’RE REALLY DOING ON THE OUTSIDE, WHICH IS SOME KIND OF CREDIT CARD FRAUD AND SCAM. WHAT HAPPENED IS, THEY RAN A CREDIT CARD… CAMPBELL: MM-HMM. JUDGE: THEY PAID FOR YOUR TICKETS. CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: IT TOOK A COUPLE OF MONTHS FOR IT TO CATCH UP, BUT THEY SENT YOU THE CONFIRMATION NUMBERS. AND I SAY “THEY” BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY PERSON INVOLVED. SOMEBODY ELSE IS INVOLVED IN THIS, TOO. THEY SENT YOU THE CONFIRMATION NUMBERS TO SHOW IT’S BEEN CLEARED, LEADING YOU TO BELIEVE IT’S A DONE DEAL, AND THEN YOU PAY THEM CASH. CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: THAT CREDIT CARD DOES NOT BELONG TO THEM. THAT MONEY IS TAKEN BACK, AND YOU’RE THE ONE THAT’S–AT THE END OF THE DAY– LEFT HOLDING THE BAG, BUT YOU’VE ALREADY GIVEN THEM OVER $2,800 IN CASH. IT’S A SCAM! CAMPBELL: YEAH. I WANTED TO BELIEVE THAT SHE WAS WHO SHE SAID SHE WAS, HONESTLY. JUDGE: IT’S NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE. IT’S ABOUT DOING YOUR HOMEWORK AND YOUR DUE DILIGENCE WHEN YOU GIVE SOMEBODY THAT KIND OF MONEY. CAMPBELL: YES. JUDGE: IT’S GOING TO BE A COSTLY BELIEF. WHY ARE YOU SUING FOR 2–YOU’RE SUING FOR $2,800– CAMPBELL: BECAUSE I GAVE HER THE FULL AMOUNT THE FIRST TIME, BUT SINCE EVERYTHING WASN’T TAKEN CARE OF, I ALSO HAVE TO PAY THAT AGAIN. JUDGE: WHAT I AM GOING TO DO IS ORDER HER TO PAY YOU THE $2,886 I BELIEVE YOU GAVE HER BECAUSE I BELIEVE YOU’RE A CON ARTIST AND A SCAM. JUDGMENT FOR THE PLAINTIFF. YOUR COUNTERCLAIM’S DISMISSED. [APPLAUSE] BARBARA: PLEASE WAIT HERE A MINUTE. THANK YOU. GO AHEAD AND COLLECT YOUR ITEMS. HEAD OUT THIS WAY. ANNOUNCER: IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS A DISPUTE, DON’T TAKE THE LAW INTO YOUR OWN HANDS. LET JUDGE FAITH RULE ON IT FOR YOU. TO SUBMIT YOUR CASE, GO TO JUDGEFAITH.COM AND TELL US YOUR STORY. SEE YOU IN COURT.

No way in hell I would give a random person $2,800. Your credibility has everything to do with it Chile

  • Rachael Thomas Post author

I don't understand why the plaintiff wouldn't just take the money and pay it to the DMV. This case makes no sense at all. Even if the defendant worked at the DMV, how would she help her? The plaintiff owes over $5,000. She thought $2,800 dollars would make it go away? So, where would the defendant's fee come in at.

That girl know all that shiz was illegal. She shouldn't get a dime since she was scammin to get her stuff fixed anyway. That's like ordering a drug dealer to return drug money. All illegal.

  • VI G Post author

if she would have handled her business like a grown woman and pay her tickets as she got them she wouldnt have been going thru this.. and stop getting tickets in the first place and DMV Lisa shouldnt be working in the child care profession if she sitting there popping pills "turning up"

  • MA Matters Post author

In my amateur opinion, the judge should have awarded both of them ZERO dollars because, by the plaintiff's own admission, she was trying to get her tickets "fixed" at a lower price by going around the DMV. Because the plaintiff came into the courtroom with what they call "unclean hands," she shouldn't have been rewarded with a judgement in her favor. I'm shocked that the judge, who was a former prosecutor, didn't pick up on this. I think she was so disgusted with the defendant that she missed it.

  • Deion the Don Post author

This case is confusing and crazy af. All of this had scam written all over it but yet the girls still give her over $2,000 moral of the story is be careful. And if it sounds too good to be true more than likely it is.

The plaintiff is probably hooking up with the so called guy and the guy is playing them both and probably was scamming the plaintiff with the help of the defendant. #Dickmitised
