KENTUCKY BY A LANDSLIDE IN THE
2016 ELECTION. THE PRESIDENT HAS PRAISED
GOVERNOR BEVIN, INCLUDING AT A
RALLY EARLIER THIS MONTH IN
CINCINNATI
RICK: NEW AT 6:00, AN INDIANA
SENATOR IS VOICING SUPPORT FOR SOME LIMITED GUN SAFETY
LEGISLATION. REPUBLICAN MIKE BRAUN STOPPED BY
THE WLKY STUDIOS TODAY. HE TOLD US CONGRESS SHOULD TAKE
UP, WHAT HE DESCRIBES AS COMMON
SENSE MEASURES. BRAUN SUPPORTS A NATIONAL RED
FLAG LAW. THAT WOULD ALLOW FAMILY MEMBERS
AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TO PETITION
A JUDGE TO TEMPORARILY TAKE AWAY
SOMEONE’S GUNS IF THAT PERSON IS
DEEMED A THREAT TO THEMSELVES OR
OTHERS. BRAUN SAYS THE MASS SHOOTINGS IN
EL PASO AND DAYTON MAY ENCOURAGE
SOME RETICENT CONSERVATIVES TO
SUPPORT IT.>>I THINK WE NEED TO START WITH
STUFF THAT’S HAD A PROVEN RECORD
LIKE THE RED FLAG LAW. WE DRUG
OUR FEET MAYBE AS CONSERVATIVE
RICK: INDIANA ALREADY
