Christian extremist and newly legal
expert Gordon Klingensmith is gonna explain to
us how law works in the United States there’s a lower authority here right
States supposedly are under the Federal
Constitution and yet the Federal Constitution is under the law love God and so it
really doesn’t matter with the state constitution says it’s still illegal in the eyes of God it
doesn’t matter with the Federal Constitution says it’s still illegal in
AST eyes are guided by the way I believe the
state constitution and the Federal Constitution both ban homosexual marriage but even if the judges wouldn’t did not
think so is this county judge said even if that wasn’t the case they could not overrule Jesus Christ who
was the King of Kings before whom every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus
Christ as Lord and He define marriage in matthew chapter 9 teen as saying this have you not read
that he who created them from the beginning
in other words God made them male and female and said for this reason a man shall
leave his mother and father me joy to his wife and two shall become one flesh
longer two but one flesh there for what God has joined together
let no man separate got defines marriage it doesn’t
matter whether human opinions are 0 okay I understand I didn’t know that’s
how we run our government I like how he thought he was actually
explaining the legality you know how it works in
the US he’s like well there’s the local man you
get to the states and then there’s the federal months above everyone but then there’s God we all have to answer to God’s law
really then why they put the establishment clause in the first
amendment you know that his son that’s as you
cannot establish a religion the government needs to remain neutral
on issues of religion in there cannot be a religious test for office in other words we are the first
officially set up secular nation I mean Thomas Jefferson
wrote letters re spoke about the separation of church and state in the United States of America
nevermind the endless quotes have tom is pain and Benjamin Franklin in the
restive them that are incredibly anti-christian
specifically okay but he %uh he of course flipped on
its head and here’s the point man if we actually did
implement a biblical system which is what he wants your police what he thinks he wants bomb we
would have to ban pork sorry pork industry you’re done we have
to ban %uh all shellfish crab lobster shrimp X
at Rs 0 the fish markets would probably all go out of business all clothes that are a mix of different
fabric so the majority of clothes in the US most likely so I would have to close up
shop by the way already read the part for the economy
would tank bit like the economy’s already John were indeed a depression if we
implement a biblical sister system and the also we have as law that when women are on their periods they
can’t sleep in the same house is the man in the Bible men you wanna biblical system I’m just
telling you what’s in the Bible and of course less thing all say on this I hate deputy fuckin read the Bible so he’s quoting one passage about where
he thinks it means that biblical marriage as one man one woman
and some biblical scholars a last year decided to do a study really
count up all the different references a marriage in the Bible and they wanted to see what was most
prevalent what was lease prevalent to see what biblical marriage actually is the number one form of marriage in the
Bible polygamy to your biblical marriage okay misfit we’ve been these people like me
are we get married everybody else and by the way the other forms I love
this I selling your daughter of her rapist that
happens all the time in the Bible you our medical system okay do that or
men oftentimes castrate themselves and live lives of celibacy cordon get on it man got to implement
the Bible I mean but here’s the thing man this guy
is the American Taliban he is al Qaeda in america he said no I’m
telling you yes I want the %ah Chrissy I want religion to be law again I know a
lot of other people who say that Osama bin Laden said that quite a bit
the Taliban al Qaeda Iranian clerics Saudi Arabia you agree a
lot with the people you pretend like you disagree with

I've never heard  someone called "Dippidy" before. I may start using that one.
So that I don't embarrass myself, is it "Dippidy" or Dippity". I could not live with the embarrassment if I got it wrong.

You know, for a first secular country, you sure have a lot of Spanish Inquisition wannabees like Gordon Klingenschmitt (sounds like a name from 'Allo, 'Allo series) here.

  • accent77 Post author

This guy gets scarier and scarier with every clip you show of him.

  • kaleyamato Post author

Klingenschmitt doesn't want a biblical system of law. He just wants the right to look down on those he thinks he's required to hate and suppress their rights making them 2nd class citizens.

My theory on why Christians, in general, subscribe to archaic doctrines like this are because it tells them they are right and others are wrong. They are better than those the bible condemns. And best of all, you don't need to think critically about anything in life, it's all God and that's that.

Say what you like about their preaching of "love thy neighbor" and what not: Christianity, at it's core, is a religion of hate, bigotry, and ignorance.

  • wrath2990 Post author

Not surprising. The Catholic Church has fancied itself as the highest authority without question since its inception.

  • 1140Cecile Post author

You tell these fuckers, Kyle. We're sick of these religious assholes and the influence they, for some reason, still exert on lawmakers. Instead of showing any respect whatsoever to these religious nutjobs because they're wearing fancy dresses, funny hats and call themselves Reverend, Bishop, Father, etc. etc., society should be treating them like they are marginally mentally handicapped. When they come out with their ludicrous comments, we should metaphorically pat them on the head and tell them to go out and play in the street with their like-minded idiot friends.

  • topher2seattle Post author

Jesus never defined marriage…nor did he ever mention homosexuality.  Ironic that a man claiming to know Jesus, does not know him at all!  Jesus would support social justice, which would include the right for every man and woman to marry, gay or straight.  How do these idiots gain such a following?  Are there that many idiots?

  • Allāt101 Post author

"Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth."

    Deuteronomy 6:14-15

Considering the amount of people in this country who are Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Jainists and etc. I can see this is pretty reasonable with the Christian Taliban, smh…

Idiocracy is an epidemic spreading like wild fire.

  • lxiv64 Post author

Dr. Chaps??? WTF? What it boils down to is this jerk wants an American version of shariah law. What a douche!

  • derek24hudson Post author

Gordon Klingonschmuk does not really want 'God's Law' implemented, he wants his own selective, partial, bigoted extremist interpretation of 'God's Law' to be paramount.Once arseholes like him get any power they always resort to BIG government control over every area of individuals' rights.

  • Beer Taxer Post author

arguing with idiots is like arguing with a pigeon. regardless what the result is, it will still shit on your head, then fly away and shit on other people

In all likelihood, Jesus was just a Jewish carpenter who got into public speaking, annoyed the Romans and got killed. The miracles, the resurrection, the son of God bit, it was all invented later by the Christ cult that sprang up after his death. That's why so many details of his life and death share features with previous gods and prophets.

If I remember correctly, implementing the bible as law would require a lot of people (men, women, and children) dying because of what the bible says.

If that what he believes, he can follow God's law above the constitution in another country. By the way Klingenschmitt, Christians no longer follow the laws of Moses. They follow the laws of Jesus Christ. Lastly, his is an extremist nutjob! That's why I don't follow religion. It's full of delusional, ignorant, and religiously arrogant people.

  • Eric Johnson Post author

Would it be ok to call him anti American? I mean he is saying fuck the constitution for foreign laws about a thousand years ago.

  • Travonte' Sligh Post author

Jesus would not accept gay marriage. Jesus is who talked to Abraham and told him sodom and gomora would be destroyed for that homo shit. Paligamy was a the main form of marriage back then but it was not commissioned by God. Get ur facts straight. God warned to becareful because man will pervert his words and try to give them man's own meanings.

  • Rebelaxe Six Post author

Well that is all well & good for him but the fact is the Constitution defined what this country is & it was constructed with a separation of religion from politics from the very beginning because our founders foreseen people who would attempt to jack it in the name of their religion & their god. In the simplest terminology, it was created purposely free from any god so that no religion could claim it as theirs & insert their own theocracy. Which is neither a republic, nor a democracy.

Anyone advocating a christian theocracy government based on either the old testament or new testament is utterly deranged.  I wish somehow that they could be transported to some parallel universe where they could experience this and I'd bet they'd be wishing to return to their own world within a few moments of arriving in this parallel one!

The level of sincerity when they recite that religious bullshit really shocks me. I find it hard to believe that so many people legitimately believe this crap, and it surprises me that they can spout such garbage without realising they sound like lunatics.

  • Connor O'Brien Post author

See, this is why I feel its un-american to be religious. I mean, our country was founded in a struggle against the idea of divine rule. Nothing is above the constitution and the only thing that matters is human ideas, we are a democracy, not a theocracy after all. Even the pledge didn't contain "under god" until the red scare.

Why do Christians cherry-pick their book to make it say anything they want it to? Jesus was NOT talking about homosexuality there. Even if he was, it would only have been about homosexual marriage, which no other scripture talks about, only homosexual relationships. In Matthew 19, Jesus was answering a question asked of him concerning divorce.

  • Ratliro2 Post author

this guy needs to actually read the Bible is says you have to obey the laws of man and the leaders were placed there by God so if you go against the leaders then you go against God.
    Romans 13:1-14
    Titus 3:1
seems a bit bias in favor of a ruling class but it is in there and that guy claims he wants to follow the Bible word for word. I doubt the guy even knows the history of the Bible and how it was even created in the first place.

  • Ras Panman Post author

This PhD (which stands for pious holy dumbass) doesn't realize that this country would have torn itself apart if the federal government HAD established any one religion as the state religion. It's that separation that has guaranteed a plurality of faiths and allowed them (for the most part) to co-exist.

  • HillbillyRepairs Post author

But the bible says dont judge for ye shall be judged, so let the human law say what it wants to say and go on with your christian lives! This will be HUMAN law not the bible, not everybody goes by biblical law!

  • Tyr Magnus Post author

so sick of people using that quote. Jesus is talking about divorce in that passage. if you start it one verse earlier or go one more, it's directly about divorce. yet they're fine with divorce and use the quote against gay marriage. if that's not hypocrisy, what is?

  • hoss3777 Post author

According to Clarence Thomas the establishment clause applies to the Feds not the States.
Just for clarity the prohibitions discussed here are all Old Testament. Most, not all,but most don't apply to followers of Christ.

  • Steven DuVall Post author

If we had a true Christian theocracy, we would have to start stoning people to death for being gay like I am, or even women who are raped. Our society would resemble that of a fundamentalist Muslim country. No thanks. Let's keep it secular.

It's very sad that a very small minority (gays) is being allowed to change the moral compass of the the vast majority of Americans. By the way, I always find it amusing  when people like 'Secular Talk' attempt to explain the bible. They always get it wrong because the Word of God can only be spiritually understood.

  • Zhu Bajie Post author

The advantage that religion has over reason is that they claim to use reason but can cherry pick any portion of their self contradictory holy texts to justify their wants. When you have a near infinite plane of points to chose from, one can always find two or more points to make a line with.

  • Zhu Bajie Post author

Using my prior comment, a Christian could connect Matthew 3:17-19,5:28 (Jesus does not abolish old testament law, lusting in heart is adultery), Leviticus 20 that many Christians love to quote, also includes death penalty children cursing their parents and adulterers (including in one's heart) then I think there would need to be for all over the age of 4 a "Jonestown type" National Suicide. Such is the barbarism Biblical law. The rest would starve to death but of course this cruelty is not unknown in the Bible (e.g. death of the first born innocents in Egypt)

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. 4 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then
    Romans 13 1-7

Took a whopping 21 seconds, including intro, to get to where this dumb, crazy bastard has his first folly of logic. There is no "God above the constitution" ruling, rule or law.

Based on that alone, I need not even debunk the other fairy tales that spew from his lips. His first conclusion, the foundation upon with the rest of his were founded, was already wrong.

You are quit right gay marriage is a breach of God's law but so to is claiming to be a citizen of a country. That court case was heard in a U.S. Court under U.S. law which is not God's law. And the marriage is not of man and man or woman and woman but citizen. God owns his children but the U.S. owns the citizens.
