Now we are having a big change. We will have one new authority who is licensing
and giving licenses to use the data. It makes the process much quicker, fluent
and efficient. So it’s good news. It will change so that we can use the data
for research, development, innovations, management purposes, for teaching in the universities. And also for the authorities when they are
making plans or following-up this development. And still, the statistic accepted purpose. So we widen the scope to use the
data and open it not just for the public but also for the the private sector. Now we are actually opening the use of this
data. It is also possible for those who want to
come to Finland from abroad. It gives options to network and co-operate
with research organizations and with companies. We have better research, better options for
that. We have also better options for development
and innovations so it gives a lot of place for companies and development organizations –
independently if they are public or private. Finally, I think that we will have new kinds
of ecosystems which are using this data, new artificial intelligence, solutions, data analytics. I think it will open our world when the amount
of data is increasing very rapidly.
