(HE) IT WAS AN EMOTIONAL NIGHT AT THE STATE HOUSE — WHERE SURVIVORS SHARED THEIR STORIES. (MM) PEOPLE FLEW IN FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO VOICE THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE BILL. EYEWITNESS NEWS REPORTER IS AT THE STATE HOUSE WITH THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS. MUCH OF TONIGHT’S TESTIMONY TONIGHT CAME FROM SURVIVORS OF CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE. IT WAS HARD TO HEAR. We’re not here for ourselves AND ONE PERSON WHO TESTIFIED TONIGHT SAID THE BILL WAS NO ANTI-CATHOLIC BUT PRO-CHILD.
